McGriff names strategic growth officer for small business, personal lines

Industry veteran brings 18 years of experience to the role

Retail insurance broker McGriff, has announced the appointment of Rodney Ledford (pictured above) as the strategic growth officer for its Small Business and Personal Lines division.

Ledford has 18 years of industry experience. Prior to joining McGriff, he served as vice president, national partners for a global insurance carrier.

In his new position, Ledford will assume responsibility for devising strategic plans that drive growth in both the small business and personal lines sectors. Additionally, he will conduct operational reviews to enhance efficiency and foster stronger relationships with insurance carriers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rodney to the McGriff team,” said Crystal Sanderson, national director of small business and personal lines at McGriff. “His depth of industry experience and proven leadership capabilities will help position McGriff’s Small Business and Personal Lines division for continued growth.”

Last month, McGriff announced the promotion of company veteran Milton Smith to national director of surety. In January, the company appointed Walter Viteri as senior vice president and commercial sales leader for its South Florida region.
