Hanley Economic Building Society has appointed Martyn Hoccom as a non-executive director
Hoccom has over 30 years’ experience in the banking industry and has spent most of his career working in the treasury and risk management areas of major banks.
His most recent role was as group treasurer of First Abu Dhabi Bank and he has also held senior positions at RBS and Lloyds Bank.
Hoccom grew up in the Midlands and is an economics graduate of the University of Birmingham.
Hanley Economic Building Society chief executive Mark Selby says: “Martyn will undoubtedly prove to be an important addition to the board and his vast experience from a treasury and risk management perspective will certainly offer some valuable insight for the senior management team to incorporate into our ongoing strategy.”
