RT Specialty marks digital expansion with Connector division

It currently has five lines of business on offer

RT Specialty has announced the further expansion of RT Connector, its digital solutions suite for the small commercial market segment.

RT Connector facilitates retail insurance agents in accessing multiple lines of coverage from various carriers for their E&S small commercial business. It provides bindable quotes from multiple carriers and facilitates policy issuance through an automated end-to-end process.

Current lines of commercial business within RT Connector encompass general liability, property, commercial package, excess liability, and workers’ comp. Anticipated additions in the coming months include cyber liability, other professional products, and commercial auto for small trucking risks.

In addition to providing automated bindable quotes and immediate policy issuance, RT Connector also incorporates online payment options and premium financing. The premium finance option is facilitated through Ryan Specialty’s premium finance company, Stetson Insurance Funding.

We have enhanced our service offerings by weaving in our digital capabilities to our RT Specialty platform. Retailers are seeking more efficient, automated ways of securing E&S solutions for this critical market segment, and it’s been validating to see our strategic firstmover investments coming to fruition with the efficient solutions we offer through our RT Connector platform,” RT Specialty CEO and chairman Tim Turner said.

Recently, the specialty firm announced the promotion of Jim Mitchell to the position of president for its national workers’ compensation division.
