Nationwide has appointed Casey Kempton (pictured) as leader of the company’s personal lines property business effective middle of February.

“I’m excited to join Nationwide,” Kempton said in a release. “It’s a dynamic time for the P&C (property and casualty) industry, and I’m looking forward to working with an exceptional team to lead this respected personal lines organization into its next 100 years.”

The key hire, who most recently served as executive vice president and digital business officer, is making the switch from Chubb. Kempton’s credentials also include time spent at The Hartford and the ACE Group.

Nationwide P&C president and chief operating officer Mark Berven noted: “During the search process, we had the chance to meet several outstanding industry leaders.

“Casey stood out in particular, thanks to her strong track record of performance excellence, deep experience in using data insights and technology to fuel growth and innovation, and her dedication to developing future-ready talent.”
