No Changes to Citi Prestige Card
We had been hearing Citi Strata Elite rumors for a while, and the card is now live online and in-branch with 80K and 100K bonuses respectively.
Rumors also included possible changes for current Citi Prestige cardholders. Those cards were supposed to automatically convert to the new Citi Strata Elite.
Now Citi has reached out to clarify that there are no changes for Citi Prestige cardholders:
“Citi Prestige cardmembers can continue to use their card as they normally would. There are no changes to the Citi Prestige Card and its benefits.”
That should be good news as the card comes with a lower $495 annual fee and some valuable benefits such as $250 of travel credit, 4th night free, and more.
The card actually gets better with the addition of American Airlines transfers, and access to The Reserve benefits.
