Bank of America Credit Card Referral Program
Bank of America appears to be rolling out a new referral program for its credit cards, allowing eligible cardholders to earn cash rewards for approved referrals. This has likely rolled out in the last few weeks.
The new “Refer a Friend” feature is now showing in the Bank of America app for some/many users. Eligible cardholders can earn:
- $100 bonus cash rewards per approved referral
- Up to 5 approved referrals per year
- Maximum of $500 in referral bonuses annually
The referral program currently appears to support several Bank of America cards. You can generate a referral links from these cards, and the person applying can pick from any of them:
- Customized Cash Rewards
- Unlimited Cash Rewards
- Travel Rewards
- BankAmericard
- Premium Rewards
According to the referral terms shown in the app:
- The referred person must apply using the referral link
- They must be approved for and receive a new eligible credit card
- The referrer will receive the $100 bonus within 60 days
