If you’ve been trading for more than 6 months, and you’re still not finding success, there’s a very specific reason why.
And it’s probably not what you think…
It’s not your strategy or your account size.
It might not even be your discipline.
The crazy thing is, it’s based on an innate desire we all have.
It’s not a bad desire (it’s actually good).
But sometimes it gets in the way of doing what’s necessary for REAL long-term trading success.
What is it?
Let’s break through one of the biggest myths in trading (and life)…
You Don’t Need Another Strategy
Look, with all the money I’ve made trading, I trade the same patterns over and over and over again.
I’m talking about nearly 28 years of the same patterns.
Many of my students are doing even better (by FAR).
But understand that we became millionaires by doing the same thing, day in and day out. We became millionaires by refining.
And it’s not because the patterns are magic or we’re good at math or smarter than anyone else (we’re NOT).
Want to know the keys to our success?
No. 1: Repeatable Trades Beat Highlight Reels
What you think about one great trade makes no difference in the long run.
Understand that most traders build their entire definition of success around BS that isn’t real.
They see other people’s highlight reels on X or Instagram and think that’s what trading is about.
It’s not.
With few exceptions, you’re only seeing the best trade of someone’s day, week, or month.
Even when you get real traders like Kyle Williams sharing his recaps, it’s dangerous to judge yourself against him.
Remember, he started SMALL. It took him years to get where he is.
Everyone wants “best of” highlight reels, but that’s not replicable. It’s literally the best out of hundreds or even thousands of trades.
Success comes from repeatable trades, compounded over time.
In other words…
No. 2: Rinse and Repeat a Successful Boring Strategy
A lot of the best trading lessons are counterintuitive. Sadly, because so many new traders compare themselves to others, they find it difficult.
When your week looks nothing like what you see on social media, you might start to wonder if something is wrong, right?
The difference is that once you master a boring strategy, you can scale up over time.
No. 3: Strategy Hopping Versus Mastery
SO many traders learn the wrong lessons when a strategy stops working
For example, let’s say the market is hot, you start buying breakouts, and it works every day for two weeks.
Then, the market changes. You take a loss. Then two, three, even four or five losses in a row.
Maybe you start wondering if the strategy is broken.
What’s the natural thing to do? Most traders start looking for a new strategy.
Maybe you spend money on tons of courses and tools. But most of the time, for whatever reason, you can’t find anything that really works.
The problem often isn’t the tools or even the strategy, but all the noise and unrealistic expectations.
Look, we have a lot of tools and I want you to take advantage of all of them.
But I also want you to get REALLY good at one pattern. Then add another, and another, until you have the skills to trade any market.
That’s exactly how I developed my 7-step framework.
I wanted to master each and every step of this pattern I kept seeing.
But even though I’ve mastered it, I pick and choose what to trade by what the market gives.
The most important thing to understand is that if you hop from strategy to strategy, you’ll never master one. To be self-sufficient, you have to master your own process.
In other words…
Self-Sufficiency Comes With Practice
There are a lot of free chat rooms out there where you can try to piggyback trades.
Let me be blunt: only morons think that’s the way to trading success.
Ask any of those so-called gurus where their millionaire students are. They can’t answer because they have NONE.
Why?
Because their followers NEVER learn how to be self-sufficient.
I know you want it to be easy. We ALL want it to be easy at some point, right?
You have to build your own trading process.
How?
• Make it a habit to study daily.
• Learn to take boring trades again and again (boring is better than exciting in the long run).
• Commit to making a watchlist every single day (it’s okay to use mine in the beginning, but at some point you have to make your own, because your success depends on YOUR effort, not mine).
• Learn when to avoid trading altogether.
Genuine pattern recognition develops over months and years of deep, focused study.
If you follow through and study every day, you will be shocked at how much you learn in the next two years that applies to your trading three, four, or even five years from now.
This Is What Creates Successful Traders
I hate to see people waste their potential.
And I genuinely want more self-sufficient, successful students.
So, wherever you are in your journey, understand that jumping from strategy to strategy is not the answer.
Focus on repeatable trades and master the basics.
THAT is the way to become my next millionaire student.
If you want that to be YOU, send me a quick message at [email protected].
I’d love to hear how dedicated you are!
