Caesars Rewards has long offered a status match for Wyndham Rewards members and other programs, even sport betting apps like DraftKings and FanDuel. But now there’s new language on the Caesars Rewards status matching page that hints at issues with continuing to receive elevated elite status.
Please Note: You must have earned Tier Status with your current loyalty program in order for your status to be matched. Caesars Rewards will not grant status to WR members who came into the WR program from a tier match promotion with other programs or who previously had recent Caesars Rewards status that was about to expire, and vice versa.
Matching to Caesars Rewards Diamond from Wyndham has been full of issues this year. Some people have received their Diamond status, but others (myself included) are still stuck at Gold. Still status continues to be matched for some, so this could just be a delay for now. But it is taking extremely long, especially for those who didn’t match right away in the first few days of February.
There are also issues with the Celebration Dinner (the $100 in free food) which is one of the most popular perks for Diamond members. Some people had it loaded into their accounts last month and it was later removed. Some have been able to use it already this years, while others have been told they’re not eligible due to being “matched Diamond.”
Caesars Rewards Tier Benefits
Caesars Rewards Diamond Status gets you some great perks, especially if you visit places like Las Vegas and Atlantic City. You can get free dinners, shows, free parking, avoid resort fees, and even a free trip to the Bahamas.
Guru’s Wrap-up
It’s still too early to tell if the new wording will be strictly enforced or not. Let me know in the comments if you have been able to match to Caesars Rewards Diamond from Wyndham this year.
