New executive will serve clients in the Northeast

Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Peter Mahoney as senior vice president within its Alliant Americas division.
In his new role, Mahoney will assume responsibility for designing, implementing, and managing risk mitigation solutions and strategies for the firm's client base in the Northeast region. He will be based in White Plains, N.Y.
Mahoney has more than two decades of industry experience. Prior to joining Alliant, he served as a senior account executive at a prominent privately owned insurance agency in New York. Additionally, he has extensive experience as a sales manager within the carrier side of the insurance business.

“Peter understands the risks, concerns and challenges businesses face today,” said Bob Bennetsen, executive vice president and senior managing director at Alliant. “He brings a deep knowledge of commercial risk and adds depth to our growing team in the Northeast region. He has worked with a broad range of customers and has built a reputation of trust.”
Mahoney is the latest addition to a growing roster at Alliant. Last week, the company announced that it has appointed Eric Edwards as a senior vice president in its Americas division. Last month, the company announced the appointment of Frank Verdi as a vice president within its employee benefits group.
