Pivotal Growth has appointed Mayank Prakash as the next chief executive of the mortgage broker consolidator.
Prakash, who takes up his post at the start of September, was recently chief operating officer at wealth manager Evelyn Partners.
He takes over from Simon Embley, who moves to become chairman of the consolidator.
The business is a joint venture established by listed business LSL Property Services and asset manager Pollen Street in 2021, with Embley as a founding shareholder.
Over the last four years, the business has bought 19 broker firms, including John Charcol and The Buy to Let Broker, acquiring more than 500 advisers.
Prakash takes up his new post following roles in financial services, technology and the public sector.
He previously helped scale up digital pensions services for 13 million customers for a government agency, and has held senior posts at Centrica, Morgan Stanley and Sage.
