New cardmembers applying for a Chase Freedom Unlimited or Freedom Flex credit card can earn a $250 bonus when doing so at a Chase branch. This bonus is higher than the current $200 that you can get online, but there’s one downside. It doesn’t include the 5% cashback on gas, and you need to spend $500 instead of $1,000.
