Discover is targeting select cardholders with an offer to earn up to $50 extra cash back from Apr–May. This is an additional 5% category, which varies from one account to the other. Check out the details below.

Activate to earn 5% Cashback Bonus from 4/1/23 (or the date on which you activate 5%, whichever is later) through 5/31/23, on up to $1,000 in purchases. This offer is different from the quarterly 5% Cashback Bonus program. Targeted cardholders will see one of the following categories:
- Groceries
- Home Improvement
- Gas

This is a nice offer for those who are targeted. You can usually find gift cards at merchants that fall on those categories. Just make sure you activate the offer through the email you received before making any purchases.
