Affiliate company also part of the transaction

Oct 06, 2023 ShareBroking giant Arthur J. Gallagher & Co has announced its acquisition of The Coverage Pro, based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The Coverage Pro is a retail insurance broker specializing in construction services for both commercial and personal lines clients across Arizona. As part of this acquisition, Gallagher will also take over The Coverage Pro's affiliated company, General Southwest Insurance Agency, located in Phoenix.
Jeff LaScala, Caily LaScala, and the rest of the team will continue operations from their existing location, now under the guidance of Scott Firestone, who heads Gallagher's Southwest region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
“The Coverage Pro has a culture similar to ours, and their market expertise will enhance our capabilities in the Southwest,” said J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., CEO, president, and chairman of Gallagher. “I am very pleased to welcome Jeff, Caily and their associates to Gallagher.”
This recent swoop follows another Gallagher made in Brooklyn as it announced the acquisition of Aloia McKinnon Insurance Brokerage.
