Acquired business specializes in commercial and multi-family real estate

Feb 06, 2024 ShareThe John Galt Insurance Agency, which consists of John Galt Commercial Insurance Agency, LLC and John Galt Insurance Agency, Inc., has been acquired by Gallagher in Fort Lauderdale.
In a release, Gallagher chair and chief executive J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr. said: “The John Galt Insurance Agency’s expertise will expand our capabilities in the condominium and association entity real estate niche in Florida.
“I am delighted to welcome Jim and his associates to Gallagher.”
The CEO was referring to The John Galt Insurance Agency’s Jim Rudd, whose camp will be overseen by Gallagher’s head of Southeast retail property & casualty Bumpy Triche.
The swoop, financial terms of which were not disclosed, comes hot on the heels of FarmPLUS Insurance Services’ sale to Gallagher.
