Hub snaps up Pennsylvania agency

Firm is the latest in a string of acquisitions

Multinational broker Hub International Limited has announced the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based Weiss Schantz Agency. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Weiss Schantz Agency is an independent insurance agency serving Eastern Pennsylvania. It provides products to commercial and municipal clients.

As part of the transaction, agency president Tim Schantz Sr., vice president Tim Schantz Jr., and the Weiss Schantz Agency team will join Hub Three Rivers.

Weiss Schantz Agency is the latest in a string of acquisitions for Hub. Earlier this month, the brokerage bolstered its Northwest presence with the acquisition of Seattle-based DeFranco Insurance.

In March, Hub snapped up Montana-headquartered Glacier Insurance of Libby.
