Deal bolsters national firm's presence in the state

Inszone Insurance Services has announced the acquisition of New Mexico-based Letherer Insurance Consultants. The acquisition will strengthen Inszone’s presence in the state and expand its expertise in the professional liability space.
Letherer Insurance Consultants specializes in professional liability coverage for attorneys, dentists, doctors and accountants.
Letherer Insurance Consultants was founded in the early 1980s by industry veteran Don Letherer, who would go on to serve as New Mexico superintendent of insurance from 1999 to 2001. Brian Letherer, Don’s son, joined him in 2012 and assumed leadership of the agency in 2015.

Last week, Inszone announced its entry into Washington state with the acquisition of Hawks View Insurance. In October, the company announced that it had acquired Missouri-based DeVoy Insurance Group and Nevada-headquartered Citizens Choice Insurance & Investments.
