MT Finance has announced the appointment of new managing director Gareth Lewis.
Lewis has been promoted to the role from the position of commercial director. He joined the lender in 2018, where he’s described as having been ‘instrumental’ in overseeing product development, accelerating expansion and steering the business through the pandemic and post mini-Budget fall out.
Prior to that he was director of bridging at Precise Mortgages, where he worked for more than six years.
MT Finance director and founder Joshua Elash says: “We are very happy to announce Gareth’s promotion and look forward to working with him in this new role. In the nearly five years Gareth has been at MT Finance, he has proved himself to be a calm, capable and highly motivated leader.
“He has been instrumental in getting MT Finance to where it is today and I am confident that he will be just as successful as managing director.”
