Capital One Lounge Coming to Charlotte Douglas International Airport
Today, Capital One announced the signing of a new Capital One Lounge location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
The new lounge will be located in the mezzanine level of the airport’s Concourse A expansion, and will span approximately 14,000 square feet. Capital One promises that the CLT Capital One Lounge will bring an “elevated, regionally inspired travel experience” for one of the nation’s busiest airports.
At CLT, Capital One will showcase its regional approach to dining and design, with expansive tarmac views, locally inspired menus, a full-service coffee bar, and dedicated workspaces that create a warm, light-filled environment for travelers.
Capital One has not shared an expected opening date for the new lounge, so we’ll just have to wait and see how long it will take.
The new Charlotte location joins Capital One’s growing network of airport experiences, which includes lounges at DFW, IAD, DEN, LAS, and JFK, and a Capital One Landing at DCA with a forthcoming location at LaGuardia (LGA).

Who Can Access Capital One Lounges?
Venture X, Venture X Business, Venture, and Spark Miles customers enjoy special access to Capital One Lounges. However, the company announced upcoming changes to lounge access which go into effect on Feb. 1, 2026, and it is not good at all. The negative changes apply to both Venture X and Venture X Business cardholders.Additional users will no longer get free access, and you will also have to pay for guests. Priority Pass non-lounge airport experiences will also be gone soon for some business cardholders. Current access rules are as follows:
- Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card holders and their authorized users or account managers enjoy unlimited complimentary access to Capital One Lounges, plus complimentary entry for two guests per visit—and special pricing of $45 per visit for additional guests.
- Capital One Venture X Business primary cardholders enjoy unlimited complimentary access to Capital One Lounges, plus complimentary entry for two guests per visit—and special pricing of $45 per visit for additional guests.
- Venture and Capital One Spark Miles for Business cardholders can access Capital One Lounges at a discounted rate of $45.
- All others — both cardholders and non cardholders— can enter the Lounge for $90 per visit.
- Kids under two, accompanied by eligible cardholders, are welcome for free.
