Industry veteran will work with Central California team

Dec 08, 2023 ShareWorkers’ compensation provider Preferred Employers Insurance, a Berkley company, has announced the appointment of Steve Roza (pictured above) as a sales and distribution manager.
Roza has more than three decades of claims and sales experience. In his new role, he will focus on further developing Preferred Employers’ regional workers’ compensation insurance offering and assist producers on the company’s Central California team in achieving their sales targets and growing sales, the company said.

“Steve’s extensive carrier experience and strong regional broker relationships are a perfect fit to the positive momentum Preferred has achieved in Central California,” said Rick Chen, assistant vice president of sales and distribution at Preferred. “We’re excited to have Steve as a member of our team.”
W.R. Berkley Corporation, Preferred Employers’ parent company, recently announced the appointment of Christopher H. Balch as president of Berkley Technology Underwriters.
In August, the corporation announced the appointment of Lee Iannarone as senior vice president and general counsel.
