Inductees have been in the industry for at least 35 years

Insurance Business America (IBA) has announced the Hall of Fame 2023 honorees – some of the leading insurance professionals across the US.
IBA identified this year’s “Hall of Famers” by inviting insurance professionals from across the US to nominate standout industry veterans. Nominees had to have been in the industry for at least 35 years.
The 2023 Hall of Fame class was then selected by an independent advisory panel of industry leaders and previous Hall of Fame honorees. The panel considered each nominee’s history of distinguished service to the insurance industry, the leadership and inspiration they provided to other people in the industry, their role in guiding future generations of entrepreneurs and business leaders, their contributions to the leadership and direction of industry associations, and their innovations that have made an excellent contribution to the industry.
Judges included:
- Deborah Babcock, Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (Judge)
- Bill Johnson, The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers (Judge)
- Mike Falvey, Falvey Insurance Group (Judge)
- Joseph Boren, Synapse Services, LLC (Judge)
The seventh annual Hall of Fame special report is proudly sponsored by:

Hall of Fame honorees for 2023
Among this year’s Hall of Fame inductees are:

- Mario Vitale, Resilience
- Kenneth J. Berger, Berkley Environmental
- Robert Cohen, IMA Financial Group, Inc.
