Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced that Risk Placement Services (RPS), its US wholesale brokerage, binding authority and programs division, has acquired Louisiana-based Forest Insurance Facilities. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Forest Insurance Facilities is a commercial lines wholesale broker and managing general agent. The firm serves clients across Louisiana, Gallagher said.

As part of the acquisition, Wayne Forest Jr., Matt Forest, and their team will remain at their current location in Metairie, La.

They will report to Laura Allen, head of RPS’s Southeast region binding operations.
