Nov 02, 2023 ShareRyan Specialty has announced the appointment of Anthony J. Kuczinski to its board of directors. Effective October 30, 2023, Kuczinski will serve as a member of the compensation and governance committee.
Kuczinski brings over 38 years of (re)insurance expertise to the role, having spent 34 years with Munich Re, where he held various senior positions. Notably, he served for 15 years as the president and chief executive officer of Munich Reinsurance US Holdings.
His leadership experience spans multibillion-dollar (re)insurance organizations, further fortified by his extensive involvement on various industry-related boards.
Currently, Kuczinski holds the position of executive advisor to Munich Re’s board of management and CEO.
“We are very excited to welcome Tony to Ryan Specialty’s board of directors. He has a proven track record of insightful and strategic leadership and the know-how to drive profitable growth. Coupled with his wealth of knowledge about the insurance industry, Tony will no doubt be an asset to our board,” Ryan Specialty board chairman Patrick G. Ryan said.
Elsewhere for the specialty firm, Ryan Specialty also recently signed a definitive agreement to acquire Chicago-based AccuRisk Holdings, LLC.
