Amazon has brought back its popular ‘Shop with Points’ promo for Amex cardholders. This promotion is normally targeted, but you can quickly check this link to see if you are eligible. It is now even better, as it has been expanded to include many more items beyond those sold and shipped by Amazon.

Offers might vary from one account to the other, and we normally see anything between 10% and 50%. My offer shows a 40% discount, for maximum savings of $60, but you might see a different offer when clicking the link.

The discount should work for third party gift cards sold on Amazon as well. You just need to use at least 714 Membership Rewards points (worth $5) for part of your purchases. Check out the details below.

This is another great  promotion from Amazon.

It now works for products shipped and sold by Amazon.com but also form many other items that can be purchased using Shop with Points at checkout at Amazon.com.

Just make sure you activate the promotion first and use at least 714 Membership Rewards point. Using points on Amazon is not a good idea, as you get terrible value. So make sure it doesn’t default to paying your whole order with Amex points. You can maximize this offer with a $150 purchase.
