Expansion will provide resources and expertise to meet the needs of government agencies

Global risk and business solutions provider Sedgwick has announced the launch of Sedgwick Government Solutions, a new business venture aimed at expanding its presence in the federal market.
With a strong reputation in the public entity sector, thanks to over 50 years of experience working with state and local governments, as well as the 2021 acquisition of federal government contracting firm Managed Care Advisors, Sedgwick is well-positioned to offer comprehensive services to federal clients, the company said in a news release. The expansion aims to provide extensive resources and specialized expertise to meet the unique needs of government agencies.
“With new opportunities and expanded capabilities, Sedgwick Government Solutions experts are ready to provide services far beyond managed care — helping more people, restoring property, and enhancing the performance of the federal programs we serve,” said Jim Ryan, Sedgwick chief operating officer. “The introduction of Sedgwick Government Solutions expands our reach by offering extensive resources to federal clients.”

To showcase the capabilities of the new business, Sedgwick has launched an enhanced website and transitioned the LinkedIn page of Managed Care Advisors to Sedgwick Government Solutions.
Managed Care Advisors, which has been supporting government agencies in the oversight and administration of Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA) programs since 2003, will now operate under the Sedgwick Government Solutions umbrella.
