Thank Amazon Delivery Drivers With Free $5 Tip

Just say “Alexa, thank my driver” using your Echo device or Alexa app on your smartphone. You can also search for ‘thank my driver’ on Amazon to thank the driver of your most recent delivery, made within the last 14 days.
➡️ Original article (Dec 20, 2022) – Amazon has developed an Alexa feature that allows customers to directly thank their drivers for making their deliveries. This new feature is available to U.S. customers with an Alexa-enabled device (Echo, Echo Show) or the Alexa or Amazon Shopping mobile apps, making it easy to thank drivers in the U.S. anywhere (affiliate link).
Starting December 7, any time a customer says “Alexa, thank my driver,” the driver who delivered their most recent package will be notified of the customer’s appreciation. And, in celebration of this new feature, with each thank-you received from customers, drivers will also receive an additional $5, at no cost to the customer.
This for the first 1 million thank-you’s received. And, the five drivers who receive the most customer “thank-you’s” during the promotional period, will also be rewarded with $10,000 and an additional $10,000 to their charity of choice.
Give it a try and hopefully it works for you. It’s a nice thing to do for your Amazon delivery driver and give them a $5 tip.
How it works
Just say “Alexa, thank my driver” or “Alexa, tell my driver thank you” using your Echo device or Alexa on the Alexa App and Amazon App on your smartphone to thank your driver with a $5 tip for the most recent delivery made in the last 14 days.
At this time, only customers who have access to an Echo device, the Amazon App, or the Alexa App on their smartphone can access the feature.
Amazon Flex Delivery Partners, Delivery Associates employed by Amazon Delivery Service Partners and Hub DP drivers who deliver Amazon packages in the United States are eligible for this promotion, and will receive $5 for the first 1 million “thank yous” received, starting December 7.
To confirm that your “thank you” has been processed and $5 will be sent to the driver, Alexa will respond, “Glad you enjoyed your most recent delivery. Since you shared your appreciation with your driver, as a special thanks this holiday season, your driver will receive an extra $5 at no cost to you. This promotion is for a limited time only.” You will not be charged anything when you thank your driver.
