Trium Cyber has unveiled a London office aimed at providing coverage for clients beyond US borders.

The announcement, led by CEO Josh Ladeau, emphasises Trium Cyber’s strong demand on the international stage due to the company’s robust underwriting, stellar claims management, and Lloyd’s A+ rated security, it claimed.

“Our advanced technical underwriting, outstanding claims management and Lloyd’s A+ rated security have resulted in great demand for our services internationally,” Ladeau said. “The opportunity to bring somebody of Amie’s calibre aboard to help execute the launch made the expansion an obvious decision.”

Recently, the cyber specialist also added industry vet Amie Watson to head its international offering. Watson said that Trium London will be writing excess layer direct and fac reinsurance coverage for several international markets including Europe, Australia, Canada, UK, the Middle East, and LATAM. The company is also targeting an inaugural offering early next year.

“The quality of capital and our industry leading analytics is what is so attractive to customers, distribution partners and investors,” Watson said. “I’m excited for the opportunity to join a unique organisation like Trium, with a singular focus on cyber and the ability to bring new products and its novel approach to perhaps the most compelling line of business in insurance today.”
