Guru’s Wrap-up

It’s good to see Chase offer a no fee Marriott Bonvoy credit card. And it comes with a decent bonus and benefits. It also gives you 15 elite night credits, something that actually offered by all Marriott cards. But with all that said, it’s probably better to use a credit card application for another card that gives you a better bonus and earning structure. Chase’s other product is the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card for example. It costs $95 a year and currently has a a bonus of 5 FREE NIGHTS, worth as much as 250,000 points. The Boundless earns six points per dollar on Marriott purchases, two points per dollar on all other purchases and has no foreign transaction fees either.

The card might be a good fit for people that shy away from annual fee credit cards. Could also be a decent downgrade option.

Let me know what you think.
