Global insurance broker Hub International Limited has acquired the assets of Dissinger Reed. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Kansas-based Dissinger Reed is a special risk agency that focuses on the insurance needs of collegiate athletic departments and state high school associations. It currently provides insurance for more than 200 colleges and universities, 27 state high school associations and the National Federation of State High School Associations. Dissinger Reed has specialized in athletic insurance since 1982.
The firm’s core focus complements and strengthens the existing capabilities of Hub’s sports and entertainment speciality practice. Christian Reed, owner and CEO of Dissinger Reed, will join the Hub Mid-America region.
