You can open the account online, but you need to be in US Bank’s footprint to do so. If you’re not, then you can still apply, but must have a prior banking relationship. To earn up to $600, open a Bank Smartly Checking account online, in a branch or over the phone with an opening deposit of $25. Use the Apply button in the promotion page and the promo code will automatically apply.   • Enroll in the U.S. Bank Mobile App or online banking.
  • Complete two or more direct deposits.

Your bonus is determined by the total amount of your direct deposits:

  • Earn $200 when your direct deposits total $3,000 to $5,999.99.

Offer Terms

  • Offer is available almost nationwide. In NY and FL you must have an existing relationship.
